Leadership

Mori Hosseini, Chairman & CEO

Mori Hosseini is the Chairman and CEO of ICI Homes, one of Florida's largest residential homebuilder/developers. Born in Iran, he was educated in London, England, earning a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Chelsea College of Aeronautical Engineering, then attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he received both a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies and a Master of Business Administration.

Mr. Hosseini founded ICI Homes in 1980. Consistently ranked by Builder Magazine among the nation's Top 100 homebuilders, ICI Homes has built thousands of homes and helped create master-planned communities throughout Florida, including the Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville, and Sarasota areas. He is also involved in other Florida enterprises, including a lumber company and a title insurance company.

Hosseini chairs the Boards of Trustees of both the University of Florida and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, among many other corporate, civic, and public affiliations. He, his wife, and their three daughters are longtime residents of Ormond Beach, Florida.

In an industry where unlimited custom changes are not typical among large production homebuilders, ICI Homes sets itself apart through its unique ability to make custom changes without sacrificing affordability — a “hands-on” approach with every buyer, guided by experienced design professionals who make the process easier and surprisingly within budget.

Over the last 46+ years, ICI Homes has built thousands of quality new homes across Florida's finest communities. A team of highly skilled plan developers, interior designers, builders, and craftsmen combine their expertise to offer a wide array of architectural styles and floor plans — from spacious, affordable homes to one-of-a-kind mansions, each reflecting the benchmark quality the company is known for.

But don't take our word for it — just ask any one of a legion of highly satisfied customers, some of whom have built two or more homes and recommended ICI Homes to their friends and family.

Together We Can Make a Difference

At ICI Homes, building stronger communities means more than building homes. Our commitment is reflected most deeply through FBH Community, the organization that began as Food Brings Hope and has grown into a broader network of programs supporting children, families, and neighborhoods across Volusia County.

What started with providing food to students facing hunger has evolved to include educational support, family resources, crisis assistance, pathways to economic stability, and opportunities for homeownership. Through partnerships with schools, after-school programs, and community organizations, FBH Community works to address both immediate needs and the long-term barriers families face.

ICI Homes also continues to support charitable organizations across Florida. One example was the ICI Homes for Hope project in Oakmont, which raised $210,000 for four Greater Gainesville organizations and earned national recognition for its community impact: the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health, Junior Achievement of Alachua County, the Pace Center for Girls Alachua, and the Rex & Brody Foundation.

Beyond these flagship programs, ICI Homes proudly supports charities across every community we serve, from the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association to Habitat for Humanity, the Boys & Girls Club, Toys for Tots, and many more.
