ICI Homes for Hope

A Philanthropic Milestone in Gainesville

At ICI Homes, we believe in more than building award-winning custom homes—we believe in building stronger communities. That belief was at the heart of our recent initiative, ICI Homes for Hope, a charitable project that brought our mission to life in the vibrant community of Oakmont in Gainesville.

Thanks to the generosity of local vendors, subcontractors, homeowners, and countless individuals who rallied behind this effort, the ICI Homes for Hope house was successfully sold—raising an extraordinary $210,000 for four impactful local charities. Together, we turned a home into a beacon of hope.

$52,500 to Each Charity—Because Every Life We Touch Matters

With every wall we built and every detail we customized, we laid the foundation for something greater. The proceeds were distributed equally among four organizations doing life-changing work in the Greater Gainesville area:

A global destination for patient care, research, training, think tanks and centers of excellence for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases. The Fixel Institute is committed to care tailored to the specific needs of the patient and research translating into impact. Clinicians and researchers work side by side to develop leading-edge ideas that fuel scientific discovery and rapid innovation in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, dystonia, movement disorders, ALS, multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injury.
Inspiring and preparing future generations for success, Junior Achievement delivers hands-on learning experiences in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career development to students in grades K-12 throughout Alachua County.
For 25 years, Pace has empowered thousands of girls in Alachua County to reach their full potential and transform their futures by providing comprehensive academic support, wrap-around social services, individualized attention, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of girls, While at Pace, 91% of girls improve academically and twelve months after completing Pace, 95% have no involvement with the juvenile justice system and 90% are in school or employed. They are poised to become the next generation of change agents, mothers, and community leaders who will shape a better world for us all.
To commemorate the lives of Rex and Brody Reinhart, tragically taken too early, the Rex and Brody Foundation is dedicated to preserving their legacy and memory. The foundation's purpose is to educate, empower, and equip young individuals through sports, aiming to make a positive impact on our communities. Rex and Brody’s passion was baseball and the foundation was built around giving back through the game the boys loved so much. They have covered expenses to send teams to Cooperstown, provide uniforms, batting cages, renovate ballparks and support players’ travel costs.

A Community That Gives Back

This incredible project was only possible through the unwavering support of our local partners. Our vendors and trades generously donated their time, talent, and resources—an inspiring example of what we can accomplish when we come together for a shared purpose.

Thank You to the Heart Behind the Home

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the homeowners who purchased the ICI Homes for Hope house. Their investment wasn’t just in a beautiful, custom-built home—it was in the future of our community. Because of their commitment, lives will be changed for the better.
